IPL 2010 Match 2 between Mumabi Indians and Rajasthan Royals commenced with Sachin wining the toss and elected to bat first. It was a visual treat seeing Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and the hitter Sanath Jayasuriya opening the innings.
The match started with a heat wave from Jayasuriya hitting the balls to boundaries not letting the Rajasthan Royals bowlers to settle down and Sachin on the other end enjoying the game. But the enjoyment did not continue for a long time as both star batsman were out on similar fashion giving leg before wicket to Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals openers G Smith and S Asnodkar entered the pitch with the target of 213 in mind and required runrate more than 10 runs per over.Mumbai Indians got the early wicket of S Asnodkar by a direct run out from R.Sathish.
Smith Joined hands with Naman Ohja hitting the Ace bowler Zaheer Khan to boundaries getting 14 runs from his over. Both the batsman rotated the stikes well and hitting atleast one boundary per over thereby maintaining the runrate very well above 10.
As Zaheer and McLaren bowled two expensive overs letting the RR team to get more than 12 runs per over bought in Lasith Malinga for attack. Sachin brought a change in bowling by giving it to spinner Murtaza Ali which paid off immediately getting the wicket of Naman Ohja leaving the Rajasthan Royals teams score to 38/2.
A huge blow for Rajasthan Royals with Smith got out of R.Satish delivery. It was an excellent caught and bowled by R.Satish leaving the Rajasthan Royals score to 40-3. Mumbai Indians developed pressure on RR by taking wickets on each over. The pressure piled up for RR bringing in Yusuf Pathan to the grease.
Jhunjhunwala and Pathan managed to rotate the strikes converting the 1's to 2's increasing the RR scoreboard. But Sachin continuous change in bowling attack did not let the RR team to settle down. As both the players were about to settle down, MI brought Malinga to attack which paid off immedidately getting Jhunjhunwala out on a slow yorker. The required run rate increased to 14.4 runs per over putting pressure on the batting side.
Yusuf pathan was the only hope as he is the good striker of the ball. With wickets falling in intervals Yusuf decided to go on the bowlers and he got Mutaza Ali to a toss. Three consecutive six from his over. Its just two overs and Yusuf pathan changed the match upside down taking almost 50 runs. It was just sixers and boundaries and the fielders were all just spectators watching the ball fly in all directions to the pavillion. Yusuf scored his half century with just 21 balls.
Now the change in bowling did not make any difference as Yusuf was on fire hitting continously all bowlers to boundaries.Yusuf scored 69 from 25 balls with six 6's and six 4's and still on fire. RR taking 62 runs from 3 overs was visual treat for the viewers. Sachin missing his star spinner Harbajan Singh being retired hurt was running out of options to control PAthan. Paras Dogra was doing his part well by giving the strike to Yusuf pathan who maintaining strike rate of 262.

Mumbai Indians thought they have comeback to the game but the Dogra did not let it to happen. Dogra took 20 from five balls therby needing 19 runs to win from 2 overs. Pressure is building up on both the teams and Sachin brings in Zaheer to bowl the 19th over. With pressure on the bowling side, Zaheer khan bowled the first ball as wide there by giving extra run to the batting side. We could see the tensions on the audience face from both the supporters. It was a good over for Zaheer letting the RR to take just 7 runs from the over leaving the batting side to take 12 runs from 1 over.
Its Lasith Malinga bowling the last over with all the audience on the edge of the seats. Lasith Malinga bowling a yorker to Mascharenas just stopped the ball and started for a run. Lasith Malinga reacted fast to the middle of the patch and did a run out of Dogra there by leaving the batting side to take 12 runs from 5 balls. Lasith Malinga seoond ball was again a yorker and it was inside edge sending Amit Uniyal back to the pavillion with a duck.
Its now the caption of RR Shane Warne who came to the grease to see if he could turn the match. Shane warne took a single and put Mascarenhas to stirke. Now its 3 balls and needed 11 runs to win. They tried converting a single to 2's and was about to208 be run out. But Mascharenas was very lucky just in by less a centimeter. Its now 9 runs from 2 balls with Mascharenas on strike. Mallinga tried bowling a yorker but went for a wide giving an extra run to the batting side.
Its now 6 runs to win from 1 ball and Malling bowling the last ball to Mascharenas. It was a yorker again and they managed to get only a double letting the Mumabi Indian's to win by 4 runs.
