Delhi Won the toss and elected to field first.


This years IPL has been like most of the teams loose the first three or four wickets early and Rajasthan Royals also following the same pattern in this match. RR lost three yearly wickets putting the score of 46/3 in 5.5 overs.

Last match the record breaker who hit fastest century is out for a golden duck this time. The game went in the side of Delhi as Smith was also out when trying to hit a shot. The Rajasthan Royals were maintaining the runrate of just 6 runs per over putting a score of 54/4 in 9 overs.

With Rajasthan Royals struggling to score, it was Abhishek Jhunjhunwala who made a brilliant innings scoring 53 from 45 balls backed by Paras Dogra who made 29 of 26 balls.

Rajasthan Royals were far better off from the way they started the innings setting a target of 142 for the Delhi Daredevils

Delhi team opened the innings by the dynamin duo Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir. Rajasthan Royals bowling attack was no match for Virendar Sehwag who dominated the Rajasthan Royals.

Later RR team got the breakthrough by taking the wicket of Gautam Gambhir and Dilshan in two successive deliveries but they could not stop Virendar sehwag from hitting the ball.

Virendar sehwag went for two six and a four in one of the overs taking his score past half century which raised the Delhi Daredevils score to 79/2 in 7.2 overs having the run rate of 10.57 runs per over.

Sehwag did the maximum damage possible to the Rajasthan Royals team by making 75 runs from 34 balls and finally got out by a splendid catch from Gibbs.At the end of 10th over Delhi team was 99/3 in 10 overs which is close to double in comparison with RR team score of 57/4

Shane Warne got Ab Deviliers wicket but it doesn't make much difference as Delhi just needs 26 runs from 7 overs which is just 3.6 runs per over. Even mighty shane warne could not do the magic as the delhi dynamite viru has already created the maximum destruction with his bat in less balls and the rest of the team just need to manage taking singles to go towards tasting the victory.

As expected Delhi daredevils beat Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets.
