Helpless to cope with the work pressure in the software world, a software professional committed suicide on Wednesday night. The victims name is Sandeep shelke(25 years). He had finished his life by jumping off the 7th floor of his office building in Erandwane. Sandeep Appasaheb Shelke is a resident of Kakade city in Karve nagar was IIT graduate and successful software engineer pro working at persistent systems. Prakash Limaye, security officer and advisor of the company, said that Shelke jumped from the company terrace at around 9.45 PM on wednesday. Shelke was taken to Sassoon Hospital, where he was declared as dead at 1.00 PM.
The Deccan police recovered Shelke’s suicide note. According to the note nobody is responsible for his act. The note says -
I am unable to do my work well and very depressed because of it. I tried my best to meet the work expectations but still unable to do it. I feel sorry for my loved ones but it’s just become unavoidable for me now.
Before taking the huge step, Shelke had also sent a SMS to his brother (Yuvraj) concerning his decision to finish life. Yuvraj tried to call Sandeep to stop him. Yuvraj also went to the Karvenagar police station to tell the police. But, Shelke had already killed himself.
The family sleets from Vasunde village in Ahmednagar district. The brothers (Sandepp and Yuvraj) lived with their mother. Shelke’s brother (Yuvraj) also works with a software firm and his father is the sarpanch of Vasunde village. Shelke’s cousin Sujit Zhavare-Patil said that Sandeep was fully emotional and always engrossed in studies.
