BHARVA BHINDI (STUFFED OKRA/LADIES FINGER) I would like to apologize to all the people who visit my blog regularly as I am not able to blog these days although blogging is one of my favorite hobbies or pass time as you may call it.. Partly due to work and family pressures and partly due to Facebook which has slowly but surely taken a lot of my leisure time. I promise myself that I would atleast retain the habit of posting one recipe a month. Here is a recipe everyone in my house loves. I could call this version of Bharva Bhindi a more south indianized version or a fusion between south and north Indian. Do try this recipe and enjoy the bharva bhindis. Parmacharya Sri Chandrashekhar Saraswati - God in human form

I have bowed before only one sanyasi in my life, and that is Sri Chandrasekhar Saraswathi, known to the world as the Parmacharya. It is not that I am arrogant or that I have no respect for sanyasis and sadhus. In fact I respect many sadhus in this country for their learning and social services. Therefore, I was the "modern" Indian, believer in science, and with little concern for spiritual diversions. In fact till the age of 30, I had not even heard of a god like human being called Sri Chandrasekhar Saraswathi. It was a chance meeting with an Indian student at Harvard in his room in the university hostel, that I saw a picture of Parmacharya on top of this student's TV set. I asked him: "Who is he? And why are you keeping his picture?" The studen...

An Overview of buying E-Gold, E-Silver or E-Copper through NSEL Opening a separate Demat and Trading account for trading in NSEL First of all you will have to open a Demat and Trading account with one of the authorized participants with NSEL. This has to be a separate trading account from the one that you might be using for trading stocks. There is a list of authorized depository participants (DPs), and you can open an account with any of these to start trading in NSEL. You can expect to pay an initial charge of about Rs. 350 or so for opening the Demat account depending on who you open this with, and then expect a slightly lower AMC (Annual Maintenance Charge) of about Rs. 250 or so every year on this account.
