
The cat is going to be let out of the bag finally on 31 July 2010 when the most awaited Tamil movie album of the year "Endhiran" (The Robot) is getting released. The release function will be the first-of-its-kind in Kollywood when a plethora of stars get to assemble in Kuala Lumpur for the launch which will be a glitzy affair. It is rumored that Big B himself has agreed to be the chief guest of the function.
The shooting of the film is finally over and the movie will have six songs composed by Mozart of Madras A R Rahman. The audio rights of the film is sold at an exorbitant price of 7 crores (a new record for a South Indian movie). Maniratnam -A R Rahman combo's latest Raavanan was sold for only 2 crores. The songs are of top quality and with the powerhouse of Kollywood in a single project it is definite to make heads turn.
The approximate budget of the film is said to be INR 165 crores and the movie is set to release with over 2000 prints worldwide on 10th September 2010. The overseas distribution rights of the film is bagged by HBO. The major suspense in the movie till date is that the label which has acquired the audio rights is kept under wraps and it is rumored that it will only be known to the public on the day of its release.
