Kotha Bangaru Lokam Movie Review

“Kotha Bangaru Lokam” is a fun filled movie with a correct dose of family sentiment. The movie begins with the hero Balu (Varun sandesh) a fun loving boy and his caring parents in Prakash Raj and Jayasudha together strive hard to bring up their son to a respectable position in the society. On the other hand Swapna (Sweta Basu Prasad) is a fun loving girl who has a rich and at the same time strict father. The story revolves around the lead pair who join Junior residential college and then eventually fall in love with each other. The director Srikanth Addala is excellent in establishing the mood in the junior college especially when he shows a student choosing his answers in a exam with the help of toss of a coin. When all goes fine there is a dilemma amongst the lead pair whether the liking the two have is just attraction or love. The surprise element in the film is the Physics lecturer (Rao Ramesh) who is very supportive towards the students and believes in doing things differently. Ba...

A Complete Hand Book to Nature Cures

The body has ways of letting us know when something is not right. Pain is one such way of telling us that whatever it is we're doing, it is damaging to us. To have a pain and then to take a pain reliever so it will go away is like driving a car with the "low oil pressure" light on and putting black tape over it so that you won't notice the warning anymore. If you keep driving that way you can easily wreck your engine, when if you'd stop and look under the hood for a moment, you could prevent any further trouble. Millions of people every day drive their bodies without wanting to pay attention to the warning light of pain or discomfort. Aspirin, Darvon, Tylenol and others are doing nothing to relieve the source or the reason for the pain. They are just bottles of black tape to hide the body's warnings with. When such people as use them find themselves on their backs in a hospital, they wonder why. What happened?  The body was not paid attention to, that's wh...

Stephen Wiltshire - Astonishing Autistic Artist

This astonishing 18ft drawing of the world’s most famous skyline was created by autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire after he spent just 20 minutes in a helicopter gazing at the panorama. The unbelievably intricate picture was drawn at Brooklyn’s prestigious Pratt Institute from Stephen’s memory, with details of every building sketched in to scale. Landmarks including the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building can be seen towering above smaller buildings after just three days in his spellbinding creation. Listening intently to his ipod throughout the artistic process - because music helps him - London-born Stephen uses only graphic pens as he commits his photographic memory to the high-grade paper. Invited by top U.S. television network CBS to display his talents to the American public in a new screen appearance this week, Stephen has dumbfounded art lovers around the globe with sketches of Tokyo, Rome and Hong Kong. ‘Stephen sketches his layout in pencil first and t...

Tips to Control Body Weight

1. Substitute Water. Our bodies are about 65-70% water. It follows that water would be not only essential, but the best possibly choice of liquids to ingest. In fact, our bodies will sometimes simulate a hunger response, when in reality the body is craving hydration. When hungry, drink a glass or two of water to check if it suppresses your hunger. 2. Chew Your Food. Chewing our food very slowly and deliberately has several benefits that are often overlooked. It gives us the ability to relax, and enjoy our meal. Slow chewing is the first, and highly important, step in a complex system of digestion. Besides, if we eat slowly, we might feel full before finishing the whole meal, and can leave the rest for the next meal. 3. Exercise daily. How silly of me to include something as obvious as exercise. I did a 30 day trial with waking up, and walking for 30 minutes first thing in the morning. My journal records that I was feeling amazing during the period of time that I was following this ha...

Daily Interest Rate on Saving Account from April 1 2010 by RBI

Come April and saving bank account holders will have a reason to cheer. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked banks to start calculating interest on savings account on a daily basis, starting April 1. At present banks compute interest on the lowest available balance in the account, between the 10th and the last date of any month. And the rate of interest on a savings bank account is 3.5 per cent annually. If one withdraws a certain amount from his/her account on the last day of a month, the interest on that amount is lost for the entire month. Also, a deposit made during this period would not be counted, as higher balance does not play any role in this calculation. This often leads to a position where the interest earned is extremely low, even if an individual maintains a high balance in his savings account. Therefore, the new daily balance method will yield a better rate of return for individuals. Here's how : - Impact Of Change: Once this norm comes into effect, the balance a...

Invisible Suits – Almost a reality

"Deployable" invisibility screens have been around for some time, able to make an object invisible from one direction, but these objects have extremely limited applications, considering they only work in theory in extremely controlled environments.  It seemed for a while the world of ground stealth technology would have to remain in the realm of science fiction and fantasy, but now scientists have developed a system which can conceal an object from any direction in 3D.  The world may soon have a true invisibility cloak. The study, being led by Tolga Ergin, of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, uses a carpet-like material to capture light and bend it around an object, and come out the other side.  To understand better how the principles work, we can illustrate the principle using the basic fundamentals of exactly how seeing works.  Light comes from a source, and is bounced off an object, having certain spectrums of its energy absorbed by the object.  As the ligh...
