The most awaited movie of the year "Avatar" has finally hit the screens and the man behind it must be applauded for the spectacular visual bonanza that he has offered to the viewers. 12 years ago when James Cameron presented to the world a classic titled "Titanic", the entire film fraternity and the audience gave thumbs up and it broke all available records at that time. The man just relaxed and didn't hurry up with his next project. 12 years later he comes up with a technologically advanced product called "Avatar" which is in a league of never seen before category.
"Avatar" on the story is very simple it has been seen many a times before in numerous movies. The major difference is the characters who are involved in the scheme of things. If Titanic was all about mounting, "Avatar" goes a step ahead and its screenplay along with brilliant execution and advanced technology has done the trick here.
Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is a marine who is half-paralyzed while he was in Marine. He now is pushed to take up the project that was handled by his brother who had died. Jake along with Dr. Grace (Signoury Weaver) and Norm Spellman (Joel Moore) set on a mission to understand the characteristics of the aliens and to convince them to act as per the wishes of human in order to obtain the abundant natural source out there.
When all goes fine and when Jake in the body of an Avatar meets up with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) they both get along like a house on fire and she helps him get the necessary support and acceptance from the clan. When Jake then decides to move towards his goals in an accelerated manner, the humans play havoc by starting to destroy the living habitat of the aliens.
Jake then deciding to fight against his own clan ends up being hated by them and his love affair with Neytiri takes a beating when the humans begin their quest for conquer. In the end who wins has been portrayed on screen with finesse by Cameron and his team.
"Avatar" visually captivating to all viewers.
Movie is excellent. I liked the way the director has thought of all energy in that world are interconnected.
