If "Chennai 600028", "Subramaniyapuram" and "Poo" were a list of movies which hit the jackpot without following the conventional commercial plot, there is an addition to this list and that is "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu". There is nothing new in the story line of this movie but the difference is pretty obvious in the way the screenplay has been drafted and executed on the adaptation of a real life incident and the director Susindharan has to be given special credit for the same. "Vennila" is a struggling kabadi group which fails to win a single match at home and away.
